Are we joking?! 2008.

Ne nje park femijesh, ku rreziku dhe dhuna vijne e sjellin nje ndjellje te cuditeshme se ciles nuk mund t’i shpetosh dot, marredhenia mes deshires dhe zgjedhjes per t’u argetuar ngaterrohen me friken dhe kenaqesine. Te gjendur perpara imazhesh dinamike qe vijne nga nje fantazi kitsch, personazheve u duhet te zgjedhin: te argetohen ne mes kesaj zhurme vizuale e akustike pa u menduar gjate. Ne fakt ne keto foto ata kane ngrire pikerisht ne momentin e zgjedhjes ose meditimit ndaj asaj qe kane perballe. Eshte zhdukur zhurma dhe aksioni, ka mbetur nje moment  i ngrire kqyrjeje, qe te le te mendosh per ato qe na serviren dhe per mundesine qe kemi, me ose pa ndergjegje, te zgjedhim.

Are we playing?
At a children’s playground you can’t escape from this strange sense that danger and violence come and bring together. The relation between desire and the choice to entertain, mix up with the fear and smiles. Finding themselves in front of dynamic images which merge from this kitsch fantasy, they have to entertain themselves in the middle of this acoustical and visual noise. In fact, in these photos, they are stuck at this moment of choice or meditation which stands in front of them. Noise and action  have disappeared, there’s only a gazing moment which lets you think on the things that are served to us and the possibility we have, consciously or unconsciously, to choose.
